PZC OKs Massage Therapy Business
The planning and zoning commission has approved a special permit for an independent massage therapy practice at 45 Hartford Turnpike.
The permit will allow Lauren E. Murphy, a state licensed massage therapist who lives in Coventry, to open a therapeutic massage practice in rental space on Hartford Turnpike.
Murphy is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, a national membership organization for massage founded in 1987 in Golden, Colo.
The property is owned by Juris Limited LLC. Business records on file with the secretary of the state’s office in Hartford identify attorney Joseph P. Capossela as a partner in Juris Limited. Capossela is a partner in the law firm of Kahan, Kerensky & Caposella LLP which lists 45 Hartford Turnpike as its address.
Attorney William E. Breslau, whose signature appears in the application file as a “duly authorized member” of Juris Limited, is also a member of Kahan, Kerensky & Caposella. Breslau also formerly served as town attorney of Vernon.
